Right across the street from the cafe is the Marie (pronounced ma-ree, and you have to use that French r)where French citizens have to go in order to be legally married. There is a Marie in each arrondisment (which means district, Paris has 20 in total)and this one is in the 18th. Gotta love that Hummer in front!
As I started to look around, I saw a couple more brides so of course, I had to get their pics as well. This bride was British. How do I know? I heard her friends talking in the cafe.
This bride was African but I'm not sure which country she was from, but the Hummer belonged to their party.
And this bride I saw in a totally different location on the same day.
Gotta love a bride!!!
I dont travel. I'd love to see new places but have no way of getting to any as i am claustrophobic and therefore, dont like planes - or tunnels and boats make me sick cause i can't swim.
ReplyDeleteHOWEVER, i came across your blog today whilst checking in on 'The Daily Nail' and gosh i am in love. I have only read 2 pages but its great. I live in the UK and have been to london but not as a tourist, just to visit family so your blog gives me a different perspective on that too.
Thank you for documenting your travels. Please continue to do so :)
Love Ruth
